Casa Batlló-Gaudí Book
Objectives
The Casa Batlló – Gaudí project was born with the aim of transforming the way architecture is experienced through the publishing format.
Beyond a conventional art book, the goal is to create a piece that allows for a sensory connection with the work of Antoni Gaudí, conveying to the reader the organic, material, and aesthetic richness of the building.
Furthermore, the project has a clear international focus, facilitating access for diverse audiences through simultaneous publication in seven languages. The aim is to amplify the cultural reach of the work and consolidate it as a global benchmark in art book publishing.
It is published simultaneously in 7 languages: Catalan, Spanish, English, French, Italian, German, and Chinese.
Project delivered
The result is a highly complex technical and aesthetic publication that transforms architecture into a tangible object.
The distinctive value of this work lies in its physical and aesthetic complexity, with luxurious technical features.
The publication stands out for its innovative three-dimensional embossing on the front and back covers, which faithfully reproduces the texture of Casa Batlló, creating a unique tactile experience.
This is complemented by high-quality binding, with a sewn hardcover, rounded spine, and meticulous finishing.
The design precisely integrates distinctive graphic elements for each language, using vertical bands that align perfectly with the embossed cover.
With 228 pages of rich visual content and meticulous printing that preserves shadows and architectural details, the book is a true collector’s item.
