Book Ubú painter-Afred Jarry and the arts
Objectives
The Ubú Pintor – Alfred Jarry and the Arts project aims to explore and materialize the visual universe of Alfred Jarry through a publishing proposal that transcends the traditional format of the art book.
Jarry (1873-1907) was a French writer, playwright, and poet, considered a key figure of the literary avant-garde and a precursor of movements such as Surrealism and the Theatre of the Absurd.
This book seeks to create a piece aimed at both specialists and collectors, in which the conceptual value of the content is reinforced by a high level of technical and material execution.
Furthermore, the multilingual edition reflects the desire to project his artistic and literary legacy internationally.
This work is not just a book, but a collector’s item that explores the visual universe of one of the most disruptive authors in the history of literature.
