Commemorative book
Client goals
The publishing house Úrsula Llibres asks us to produce graphic of a prestigious book to commemorate the centenary of s’Agaró, this emblematic destination on the Costa Brava.
The book is an illustrated tour with archival and current images that tells us about the Ensesa family and the birth of S’Agaró, Rafael Masó’s urbanization project, the Noucentista garden city, the first La Gavina Hostel, the Baños de Sant Pol, the years of the Civil War and the architects who worked there after Masó, such as Folguera, Florensa and Sibils.
The book created by the publishing house Úrsula Llibres, also talks about the international projection of s’Agaró after the war: tourism, festivals, sports, cultural activity, music and fashion festivals, cinema, television, and also politics and economics during the last decades.

We have produced the book at CeGe with 100% ecological printing.
It is a book of almost 500 pages, in a limited edition of 400 copies. Each copy is personalized: the case includes a certificate with the work number, which also appears on the outside of the box.
It is printed in two bilingual editions: Catalan/English and Spanish/French.
Bound in hardcover, it houses a quadriptych inside and includes three sheets embraced by a band. It comes in a fabric case with a matte silver print.
